FidgetBoy doesn't have a fixed schedule for having products for sale, but usually there is something weekly. For updates, follow the Facebook group.

Products are sold via different methods described in the sections below. Links to past sales are also provided as example.

Web Drop

Web Drop is when FidgetBoy lists products on its Etsy store , often pre-announced in posts like this one .

To purchase, have your Etsy payment method pre-configured, as items sell out quickly in seconds. Then at the announced time, keep refreshing the Etsy store for the product to appear and use the "Buy it now" checkout flow.

Additionally, surprise drops sometimes happen without warning, so turn on notification for the group to watch for updates.

Sign-Up Sale (SUS)

Sign-Up Sale (SUS) is a lottery for the opportunity to buy.

FidgetBoy announces SUS in its Facebook group similar to this oooBoy SUS . You then follow the instruction in the post to enter. Winners are later announced in a follow-up post like this one .

Auction

Auctions allow the highest bidder to purchase.

Bidding could take place openly like this Mokume Swoop , or via blind bidding like the "Artist Series" ErgoBoy .

First Come First Serve (FCFS)

FCFS means whoever comments fastest gets the chance to buy. This PezzBoy FCFS is one such example. For more examples of past FCFS sales, the timeline section is a good resource.

Pre-Order

Pre-Order is when you buy and pay for a product upfront, then receive it some time later.

There hasn't been many of these. The only examples so far have been the Titanium Swoop preorder .

Secondary Market

There is a separate FidgetBoy BST group where people Buy, Sell, or Trade (BST) their collection.

It's a good idea to also join the group because this is often a good way to buy something you missed out on.

It's also the place where you can make posts asking if anyone wants to sell what you're looking for. You'll see posts with ISO or WTB, which stands for "In Search Of" and "Want To Buy". Don't know what's out there? Check out the Products page for everything FidgetBoy ever made!
